The goal of this challenge is to intentionally break out of your daily routines to strengthen your “creativity muscle.” By introducing novelty and small, manageable changes, you build creative confidence, demonstrate that creativity is an accessible skill, and open your mind to new ways of thinking and problem-solving.
Instructions
For one full week, commit to doing one small thing differently each day. The key is to choose low-stakes activities where the outcome doesn’t matter, allowing you to focus on the process of trying something new.
Benefits for Stress Reduction and Burnout Prevention
Promotes a Sense of Agency: Actively choosing to alter your routine reinforces a sense of control over your life and environment, which is a powerful psychological buffer against feelings of helplessness that can lead to burnout.
